Ginger Energy Balls
The snack that actually does something
Sometimes you want something sweet without the sugar crash. These no-bake ginger energy balls use Gem Juice Original to bring a clean, warm heat to a base of oats, dates, and dark chocolate. They come together in fifteen minutes, keep well in the fridge all week, and taste far better than anything wrapped in plastic. Real ingredients, real flavour, nothing artificial.
What you need
- 2 tbsp Gem Juice Original
- 150 g rolled oats
- 100 g medjool dates, pitted
- 50 g dark chocolate chips (70% or higher)
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- A pinch of sea salt
- Desiccated coconut to roll (optional)
How to make it
- Blend the dates in a food processor until they form a sticky paste.
- Add the oats, almond butter, Gem Juice Original, and sea salt. Pulse until combined.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips by hand.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, roughly the size of a walnut.
- Roll in desiccated coconut if using, then place on a tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Tip: Keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days. The ginger flavour deepens after a night in the fridge.
